Lavon City Hall Will Be Closed on Monday, July 6th, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  We will reopen at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7th.

Official Election Results - City of Lavon and Community ISD School Board The elections held in Lavon on May 9 have now been canvassed and approved by the Collin County Elections Commissioner.  The City results are as follows; For Mayor - Norma Martin -  98 Votes, John Horton,  31 Votes City Council, Place 2 - Deborah Nabors (unopposed) -  95 Votes City Council, Place 4 - Aaron Heatley (unopposed) -  90 Votes Community ISD School Board Place 1 - Nina Stork - 254, Damon Sams - 206 Place 2 - Jay Price 265, Jim Blackburn 193 Place 3 - Mike Shepard 234, Tom Murray - 216

Remember, only WE, the citizens of Lavon, can determine the future of our City.  We are young, and the direction of our growth is completely in the hands of citizens willing to be involved !

City Hall Accepting Credit Cards Effective immediately, the City of Lavon will be accepting Master Card and Visa credit or debit cards for payment of any city services (trash pickup, sewer service, city permits,  traffic citations, etc.).  If you have a question about a specific service, please contact City Hall at 972-843-4220.

New City Hall Hours In Effect Remember, City Hall is now opening at 7:00 a.m., and closing at 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and will be closed on Friday.  City Hall will also closes from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.   Please be sure and make note of the new hours !
